PAJB’s organizing team is led by Organizing Director Robert Murray. Murray appears to have joined PAJB’s team in 2025. Before PAJB, he worked for an SEIU local based in New York City. Back in 2014, Murray achieved notoriety for allegedly assaulting several police officers in New York.
Murray was arrested for allegedly breaking the nose of one of the officers. One witness described the incident by saying “he hit him so hard that [the witness] heard the fist hitting [the officer’s] face.”
PAJB’s other Organizing Director, Ben Bennett, is a self-identified socialist who thinks that the “U.S. political system” is “fascism” and that America is “built on… genocide.”
PAJB’s rank-and-file organizers aren’t much better. These include Philip Halin, who believes that “America must be destroyed,” and Duncan Riley, who believes in “abolish[ing] borders.”
